FRN hosting FREE Introduction to Rugby 7s Session on 20 August-Open to All!

Introduction to Rugby 7sThe rugby 7s competitions in the Rio Olympics did not disappoint spectators with some exciting and shocking results – NZ losing to Japan, GB men qualifying for the final, Fiji taking home the first rugby 7s Olympic gold medal – the event was full of surprises from start to finish. Has the Olympics Inspired you to try Rugby 7s?

We have been getting dozens of emails on a daily basis from players expressing an interest in trying out rugby 7s, so we thought we would do something about it.

Session Details

Next Saturday, 20 August, we will be offering a FREE rugby 7s training session in London led by our experienced international rugby coach Drew Fautley, who was himself a member of the USA National Men’s 7s Team, coach of the USA National Women’s 7s Team and consultant for Rugby Turkiye Olympic 7s Development.

The session is open to all – both male and female alike. Depending on interest, we may do two separate sessions or one join session.

This 7s specific session will cover:

– ball handling
– depth running
– support lines
– expectations
– breakdown work
– defensive alignment

You will need to pay £5 to register your place, but your money will be returned to you on the day of the session, so this will be absolutely free to you!
