Rugby Cartoonist Wanted

cartoonWe have recently been contacted by a writer that is working on a humorous book about rugby, which is essentially a “Rugby Man’s Guide to Life”.

The book will include 20 to 40 cartoon-type illustrations that would match short pieces like “How to Deal with a Cold Woman,” “Support your local Hooker…at the bar” and “Feed the Forwards.”

The writer is looking for an artist who can deliver fun and current illustrations that include rugby players and rugby life.

The ideal cartoonist would have a strong familiarity with the rugby environment in the U.K. and rugby around the world. The book is geared toward young men around 22-30 years of age and will be available in the UK and other English speaking nations in time for the Rugby World Cup.

The writer has an agreement with a major U.S. literary agency and the book is being actively shopped. He expects this project to be sold and the book to be published.

Compensation will be discussed and agreed with his agent.

If you know anyone please forward them this link and encourage them to contact the writer. Interested applicants will need to supply examples of their work and a brief rundown of their rugby experience.
