I think this site will be of great use to us to help us find local teams for friendlies. I am particularly looking forward to using the forum and the fixture exchange. As a relatively new team any links to other rugby clubs in the area are very much appreciated and I think this site will help us build ties in the community and attract new players.
How to Remove the Facebook Likebox Border
by adam on June 30, 2010
Facebook provides a nifty little likebox widget that can be customized to display your facebook pages current fans (or likers), but the widget comes with an ugly blue border that cannot be overridden with css because it is in a facebook iframe.
The Solution: Wrap the likebox in an extra div (with a border color set to your pages background color, and position the wrapper to overlap the likebox). Code below.

The FindRugbyNow website will be a great asset for players, coaches and clubs. As the director of a rugby club I think that the club profiles will be very useful in providing information to interested players and fans. I also think that the local rugby events pages will be a great opportunity for clubs to advertise their events, like the Rugby Rocks Festival. I look forward to seeing what else the site has to offer in the future to the local rugby community.

Every month one lucky team will have the opportunity to apply for a FREE conditioning session with Jack at his sports complex in Cheltenham where he trains players and athletes.
For clubs that do NOT have access to this sort of facility on a regular basis, Jack will provide alternative methods to receive the same professional results.
Get ready to use beer kegs from the club house bar, ropes, old tyres, broomstick handles, wrestling techniques, body-weight exercises and more!. Jack will help your club create their own outdoor gym.
This is no “Get great abs in 3 weeks”. This is real rugby-specific training.
