Sun and Bournemouth 7s Around the Corner

01. Main Festival ArenaThe sun is finally starting to break through those cold grey skies, which means one thing…7s season is just around the corner! With the development of our men’s and women’s rugby 7s teams and the FRN London 7s tournament, summer is always something we look forward to at FRN.

And what better way to kick things off this season than the celebrated Bournemouth 7s Festival (“B7s”), which has become a “must attend” summer event for rugby 7s players, spectators and music fans alike?

As the largest sport and music festival in the world and with over 300 Rugby, Netball and Dodgeball teams competing in a range of competitive and social competitions, B7s is an action packed weekend of sport, music and entertainment.

02. Carslberg Beer TentFRN are proud to be partnering with B7s again this year and the FRN “Flair” 7s team will be taking part in the Carlsberg Cup. If your team has yet to sign up, there are still limited places available in several social cups as well as the touch rugby competitions.

This festival is really not one to be missed. Since its introduction in 2008, the festival’s owners, Diamond Sporting Group, have made B7s a truly unique event that has made a significant impact on the world rugby scene – so much so that B7s has overtaken renowned tournaments like Dubai and Hong Kong Sevens for team entries.

06. Animal Bike TourThis year’s festival will see 10 Festival Arenas with a massive array of entertainment, live music and spectacular shows. Live bands and DJs will be on stage all weekend in both the Carlsberg Beer Tent and on the Main Festival Stage, whilst the Family Zone ensures that the Bournemouth 7s Festival has something for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you all on the pitch or the beer tent – take your pick!
