FRN Beavers Set for Debut at Manor 7s

FRN Beavers will make their highly anticipated debut this Saturday at Eton Manor 7s, following a hugely successful Open Day Training Session that brought together over 65 players and staff.

Manor 7s marks the opening event of the 2026 season and the beginning of a new era for the FRN Beavers. The club will field four teams on the day, with men’s and women’s elite and open sides all competing.

The club enters the season with strong foundations. In 2025, BOOM Beavers delivered impressive performances across the LIT Super Sevens Series, finishing mid-table in both the men’s and women’s elite competitions against semi-professional opposition. The men’s open side went one step further, claiming the Series title after narrowly edging Concorde 7s.

On the women’s side, FindRugbyNow’s women’s open team also secured top spot winning the Women’s Open Series title after a very successful season with top finishes on the podium at most of the LIT Super Sevens Series events across the season.

Now rebranded and strengthened through the merger, combining Find Rugby Now with the Beavers, the FRN Beavers boast a deep and exciting talent pool and will be aiming to defend their dominance in the Open competitions while pushing up the rankings in the elite divisions.

Director of Rugby Jonny Burden said:

“We are really excited about making our debut this Saturday. There has been a huge amount of work behind the scenes to bring this together. We’ve got a young, exciting group and we can’t wait to see them in action. Our goal is to build on last season’s momentum and continue to provide opportunities for players to compete at both elite and open levels.”

The team will also unveil a brand-new kit at Manor 7s in partnership with Conquer Teamwear  featuring the signature pink, purple, green, and black colours—symbolising the merger of Beavers and Find Rugby Now.

Club President Ellaine Gelman added:

“We have an incredible group of players, coaches, and staff who are committed to delivering a  high-performance environment backed by an excellent infrastructure. The FRN Beavers are now the largest rugby sevens club in the UK, offering real opportunities and a clear pathway for both men and women. We are incredibly excited for this next chapter.”

Fans can expect a full festival atmosphere at Manor 7s, with free entry, a live DJ, and street food on offer throughout the day. Free tickets for the event are available here.
