South West 7s: 10-12 June 2016

newSouth West 7s is a celebration of the finest sport and music from across the UK. This year it will be hosted 10-12 June 2016 in Bristol, the rugby heartland of the South-West.

The event will feature men’s and women’s rugby 7s, netball and dodgeball as well as a variety of musical acts.

With Rugby 7s at the heart, why not come along and enjoy a weekend of fast paced sport, incredible live music, food, drink and camping this June?

Event Details

Friday Night – Kick start your weekend at the SW7s Welcome Party, including some of the best live music and DJ performances from across the UK plus lots of rugby and sport focused entertainment. This is also time to pop your tent up for the weekend, grab a few pints and fill up those bellies with some of the epic grub on offer.

Saturday Day – This is when the Men’s and Women’s Open and Social Cups will take place, structured as group stages that will lead on to KO and finals. A jam packed day offering all levels of sports teams and entertainment throughout. A great day for everyone, whether you plan to play or just stand at the side lines!

Saturday Night – Starting with a feast of champions, they are creating a banquet and beer hall offering more live music and space for teams to celebrate (or commiserate!) after a day on the pitch.

Following this the main festival stage will open up with a carefully curated line up of bands and DJs. No need to worry about getting a taxi home either, just ensure you opt in for the camping option when purchasing your tickets. First Tier camping tickets are priced at just £10!

Sunday Day – Is the day of the Elites Cup, this will showcase the best of the best, battling it out on the prefect pitches of Clifton RFC. Alongside this we will again host the leading South West 7s Development Sessions for under 16s, plus the SW7s Vets Cup adding a great family element to the day. Focused on the inclusive nature of rugby, invite partners and children of all ages this will be a great day out to end a super weekend of sport.

With music and entertainment offered throughout the weekend, come along for the day or pitch up for the whole weekend – they have luxury bell tents available to hire, that can sleep up to 6 people (depending on how cosy you fancy getting!) Alternatively, just bring along your own tent!
